Before the project began, ERAS Cardiac faced significant challenges due to a complete lack of online presence. With no website or Virtual Training Center, there was no platform for engaging with potential members or offering digital resources. The organization, comprised entirely of medical professionals wanted us to implement necessary technological solutions. This absence of a digital infrastructure hindered their ability to effectively communicate with members, provide educational resources, and manage memberships. Without addressing these issues, ERAS Cardiac risked missing out on a broader global engagement and the opportunity to enhance their community's knowledge and practices through an organized, accessible online platform.

To address ERAS Cardiac's need for a robust digital presence, we developed a world-class, modern informational website that includes comprehensive details about ERAS, membership options, upcoming events, recommendations, and partner information. The site also features a custom-built Virtual Training Center (VTC), an online platform offering a self-directed, multimedia educational experience. The VTC includes a vast array of resources such as publications, presentations, and videos, created by an international network of ERAS Cardiac experts. The content is meticulously organized into modules and associated topics, making it fully searchable and easy to navigate, ensuring members can easily access valuable information on enhanced recovery topics.
The collaboration with ERAS Cardiac began with a clear challenge: the organization lacked a web presence, hindering their ability to disseminate information about their mission and connect with healthcare professionals. The goal was to create a comprehensive website where visitors could learn about The Society for Enhanced Recovery After Cardiac Surgery (ERAS® Cardiac), its mission, and the team behind it. The project aimed to optimize perioperative care for cardiac surgical patients through a new digital platform.
The project unfolded in three phases. First, after several discovery meetings, we developed wireframes for the entire website, outlining content and potential design elements. We then built a world-class, custom-designed website inspired by modern healthcare aesthetics. The design was unique in the industry, prioritizing content richness, user experience, and readability, with ample white space for a clean look. The second phase involved creating a Virtual Training Center and establishing a membership base of healthcare professionals who could access ERAS's extensive educational material. The final phase, set for 2024, involves implementing AI agents to enhance member engagement within the Virtual Training Center.
The ERAS Cardiac project stands out not only for its innovative design but also for its forward-looking approach, including the upcoming integration of AI technology.
